Liza Hale Doyle is a multimedia artist and art teacher born and raised in Santa Fe. Her work is a multidisciplinary exploration of the human body and the physical, imagined, and energetic landscapes it interacts with. No matter the medium, she strives to create images that are playful and inspired by all things that GROW.

Her current body of work, BONEPLANT, can be viewed at the Hollander Gallery from May 10th - May 19th. This painting series fixates on simple organic systems like roots, veins, bones, and branches. In her images, human spines morph into plant stems and rib cages sprout blooms. These visual metaphors highlight her belief that we as humans are not separate from nature, but part of the same intertwining network.

The show will be up all week, May 11th-19th, from 10am - 5 pm.
Join the artist herself for an opening celebration May 10th from 5-8pm.
